Fang Wei est un "peintre au sens européen", il peint avec sèrieux depuis une culture - la sienne _et je lis qu'il a été 15 ans antiquaire et marchand.Ce n' est sans doute pas un hasard. A mon sens , il y est un des rares a maitriser un vocabulaire pictural ; autour de lui je vois une quantité de jongleurs en art plastique, tel qu'il en existent des milliers en Europe et ailleurs .Donc il est - comme d'habitude - très rare de peindre , mais on peut aisément " plastiquer " (sans jeu de mots ).
